SWIFT BLACK ANGUS MEAT

The Swift Black line features cuts aged for 12 days. The meat gains greater flavor as it ages, achieving superior tenderness, juiciness, and aroma. Thanks to the aging process, the meat’s water retention capacity increases, resulting in juicier meat.

– VACUUM PACKED –

Vacuum packaging at source extends the shelf life of the cuts and maintains their quality and freshness for longer. Furthermore, the packaging guarantees high sanitary standards of quality, hygiene, and safety in accordance with official SENASA regulations, ensuring that the product is not contaminated.

– KITCHEN RECOMMENDATIONS –

Open the package at least 20 minutes before cooking and let it rest for no more than 15 minutes. Once exposed to oxygen, the meat will regain its natural color, maintaining its juiciness and tenderness. Blot away excess liquid with paper towels. For frozen cuts, thaw ahead of time in the refrigerator. Never use hot water, a microwave, or at room temperature. Once thawed, it should be consumed within 24 hours.

Q Organization

The raw material for the meatpacking industry is beef. The quality and volume of animals received at the plant each day will determine the volume and quality of meat produced.

Animals for the Rosario plant are purchased in the country's five most productive provinces (Santa Fe, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and Entre Ríos). These provinces contain more than 80% of the country's livestock.

The main purchasing methods are: directly from producers or through regional fairs where products produced by small producers are sold.

Bovine genetics have the capacity to produce high-quality meat, Argentine cattle producers have the knowledge to maximize their potential, and Swift has the technology to process and market everything generated by the producer's efforts.

Swift is the largest meatpacking plant in Argentina and one of the largest in Latin America. The characteristics of the animals received depend on the commercial destination of the final product.

At Swift, knowing who produces the raw materials is of utmost importance. A group of 12 buyers is in daily contact with suppliers, communicating the plant's needs and cooperating with the producer in their decision-making. Producers are encouraged to visit the plant, where they can see the quality of meat produced, animal by animal.

Livestock is the main player in the meatpacking industry. It is our obligation to produce and process it professionally, as it will be our families' food.
